The past couple of winters we haven't had much snow at all. So this week when the weatherman said we were getting up to 8" of snow in our town, I was a little hesitant to believe him. But just as they predicted, it started to snow just a bit yesterday and then became very heavy this morning. The snow is so beautiful when it first falls, before any of it melts and it's all still bright white. Your dad even had to skip work today because it wasn't safe to be out on the roads driving. I'm happy to have him home and you get some extra time with him so I'm pretty sure you're happy about it too! Of course, as I type this, you're downstairs crying so you're being a bit fussy today!
Your Grandma had bought you the cutest outfit to wear home from the hospital, but it was way too big when we put you in it to bring you home. You haven't worn it yet because it's way too warm for just being at home in the house. So when it snowed, Grandma suggested we put it on you so you could take a picture with your dad in your first snow! It wasn't easy to get it on you because you've grown so much the past 6 1/2 weeks that it's now too small, but we managed to get it on you long enough for a picture!! You weren't too happy about it, but you sure looked adorable!
Don't worry, you were only outside long enough for me to snap the pics!
