FOUR Months!

My Sweet Boy,

Where has the time gone? I cannot believe that you have been with us for 4 months now. You are at such a fun age and changing daily. You are one strong little guy and are growing like a weed!

4 Month Well Visit
At your 4 month  appointment, you weighed in at 18.2 pounds and were 27 inches long! Dr. Braun told us that you are off the charts in length. I guess I'm not surprised since you come from a family of many tall people! I also have a feeling that you are going to be left handed like your daddy and Papa. You tend to reach more with your left hand and seem to favor grabbing your left foot. Daddy and Papa are pretty happy about that. Of course they are thinking a lefty makes a great baseball pitcher!

Bugs Bunny & Shrek Band-Aids!
You did better this time with those pesky vaccinations. You had to get 2 this time. One in each thigh. You managed to get through the first one without crying, although you had to fight off the tears! The second one is a tough one though and you did cry a bit with that one. Before we left the office though, you were back to your smiling, happy self!

You are now beginning to attempt to sit up on your own. If I put you in a sitting up position, you are able to balance for a little bit before leaning over and falling to your tummy. You definitely prefer sitting up to lying down. You are also full of curiosity and are constantly looking around at your surroundings, following voices and people.

You love to reach up and grab hold of toys. They go straight to your mouth each and every time.  You also love to kick your feet. It makes changing your diapers very difficult! You are not a baby that likes to sit still. You are extremely active!

Exersaucer Fun!
Grandma and Papa bought you an exersaucer and you absolutely love it. You love to make the lizard play music and you very intensely stare as he lights up. I think you feel like a big boy playing in it because you get to sit up all by yourself.

4 Months!

Your smile is so infectious and melts my heart every time I see it. I can't help but smile myself when I see a grin on your sweet face. Nobody can make you laugh like your daddy can. He loves to tickle you and you are definitely ticklish like your mommy! Hearing you break out in laughter is one of the best sounds my ears have ever heard! There really is no sweeter sound! Keep on laughing kiddo!! Knowing you're happy means the world to me!

Love and Kisses,
Mom xoxo
