Dear Brendan,
Today was Dad's day off and it was a BEAUTIFUL day so we decided to go to the zoo AND the park. Of course, you always love being outdoors so you really enjoyed it and soaked up the sunlight!
You seemed to be more interested in the animals today at the zoo than you usually are. You looked and pointed and chattered away! I love seeing the curiosity and wonder on your face.
After running a couple of errands we stopped by the house, picked Grandma up, and were off to the park. This has turned into one of your favorite places to go, 2nd in line to WalMart!!! Usually while we're at the park you like to just run in the grass and check out all the tall structures, especially the water tower. Today though, you stayed on the playground and checked everything out. I think you finally realized how much fun the playground can be! 
I can definitely tell you're going to love the outdoors like your dad! We can't wait until you're a little older and we can start our camping trips!
