Yesterday was a big day for you. You had to have surgery to help you with all of the ear infections that you've been having. You were so brave and handled it like a champ. They put tubes in your ears and removed your adenoids, and Dr. Hirschi is very hopeful that you will feel much better now.
We had to check you in at the hospital at 7:00 am and they had you in surgery before 8:00. Seeing them carry you off to the operating room was hard for me because I couldn't go with you! Your dad kept me calm though and only a few tears were shed. The surgery was over pretty quick and before we knew it we were off to the recovery room to see you.
You were pretty upset in recovery and cried and cried. Dad was holding you and doing his best to comfort you while you tried to figure out where you were and what was going on. Before long we were able to leave the hospital and take you home. Once we were in the car and driving, you calmed down.
When we got home you had some milk and snuggled with me for a bit. Then some snuggle time with dad. Before long, you were up and running around like you usually do!
