Out For a Walk

Hi Little One,

It was such a nice day out today, that we decided to take you and Cody for a walk around the neighborhood. Your dad's day off from work was today so we were able to go before it got dark out. You really seemed to enjoy it! You just kicked back and looked around, taking in all of your surroundings. You haven't had much opportunity to be outside since you were born because it's been so cold out. Grandma and I tried to take you for a walk one other day, but we didn't get past the driveway without you starting to scream and me deciding it was best to turn around and try again on a different day! Today was the day and you did so well! I was a proud mom! I've spent many a days, even years, thinking how much I would love to have my own little family to enjoy the simple things in life with. This was definitely something on my bucket list! The only thing missing from our fun little outing was Grace. I wish your sister lived closer. I know she would love to spend more time with you and I'm excited for her to see you very soon! You've changed so much since she last held you. You were just a few days old when she had to head back home to CA after you were born.

Once we're in CA, grandma and I will take you for a lot of walks. I bet Grace would love to come with us too! Since she'll be visiting we'll be sure to do that. I can't wait to get a lot of pictures with you and your big sis! And since it's so much warmer there right now so you'll have a lot of outdoor time! Hopefully you enjoy it as much as you did yesterday!
