Two Month Check Up

Hey Cutie Pie,

Getting ready to be weighed at the Dr

Today was a big day for you! We went to see Dr. Braun for your 2-month well visit to find out how well you're growing. He was very happy with your progress, and you even flashed him one of your sweet, toothless smiles! You're now weighing 13 pounds 4 ounces and are 24 inches long. My little, tiny baby is already 2 feet long!! Your stats put you in the 90th percentile which is excellent. Keep up the great work, little dude! He commented that we have a very healthy baby...what a great thing to hear!

Your first band-aids...camo, basketballs, and planets.

The not so fun part came next. You had to get your first round of immunizations. You did really well considering it was 3 very large needles. You cried with each of the 3 shots, and I cried right along with you. I held up pretty well with the first 2, but by the 3rd one I couldn't hold back the tears anymore! It's not easy for a mom to watch someone stick needles in their baby! I think your dad had a bit of a hard time with it too. I'm just so glad he was there with us. I'm not sure I could have held it together if he wasn't!!

Once they were finished, you stopped crying pretty quick. In fact,
you were asleep again before we got to the truck and have been sleeping ever since. I've been sure to give you lots of extra love and snuggles though ever since we got home. At least you got a few pretty cool band-aids!
